A very touching story.Everyone wants to see the rosy side of life .There are only few who wish to serve the old .Many get scared to serve the old at the verge of death.Your story has a character who proves  that serving the people at their old age gives enriching experience. The story also teaches that every act of service must be accepted with a smile.
The story shows the way to ennoble life

A fresh perspective in the form of a story on the life (& death) of an NRI. Sadness comes through effectively.

Interesting, read. Different elements, well knit together.
Sad of course, for now. But new beginings can always be explored.

Dear Madhu, This story strangely affected me. It is because the word 'olfactory' is interlinked with my life in an unusual way.  Perhaps I should write a blog about it. Well written.
